Thank you,
Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda.

Healing and transformational mantras infused with state-of-the-art grooves. Kirtronica merges a dance-venue pulse with the devotional chant of India. Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda imbue their music with the power of their own spiritual practice—Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan—drawing us into movement through mantras, beats, and live instrumentals, and awakening the sacred energy of Kundalini within us. Whether you’re just listening or singing along, each track invokes specific healing effects on the body, mind, and spirit. Co-produced with Akal Dub, this much-anticipated album is sure to be bumping at yoga fests, yoga studios, and divinely attuned house parties across the country, lifting us into ever-higher states of universal love and consciousness.

Jaya Lakshmi, "Kundalini Kirtronica is our 2nd Kirtronica album. We decided to devote this album solely to the mantras practiced in the Kundalini Yoga tradition, as this is our foundational daily practice. We love these mantras so much because of their potency and simplicity.

I first started practicing kundalini yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) when Ananda Yogiji and I became partners in 2010. I was so impressed by his discipline and dedication to his morning sadhana I felt challenged and inspired to meet him in the daily practice. It has changed my life profoundly. It was only a matter of time before the Kundalini mantras made their way into the Kirtronica set we perform live and eventually onto this album.

The original intention behind Kirtronica was to facilitate a divine experience for participants on the dance floor and beyond. Each track on this album is a composition that has many layers to it and is arranged to induce a trance-like state. They are also designed to bring light energy to the chakras, creating a journey of opening, healing and empowerment that ultimately unleashes the ecstatic joy that is our true nature, our Sat Nam.

The mantras on this album each have their own powerful transformative effect on the psyche. Kundalini Kirtronica is a practice in itself – try integrating your spontaneous dance into the mantra and vice versa. Let the mantra and music move you. Let your movement inspire the mantra and transmission. Dance and chant and let it fill every cell of your being with light. Ang Sang Wahe Guru!"

"Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda have created a gift of sound which brings us closer to the Divine while healing us from the blocks that prevent us from shining. There is a beautiful vibration that touches the heart with this music. It touches me deeply." Karena Virginia (Kundalini Teacher)
